25. Februar 2008 - Hint:
A German news magazin reported a security hole in the USB Controller-Chip, which allows to access the data on the USB token without authentication via the fingerprint. We are working together with the chip-vendor on a solution and will release an update soon.

With the CySecure Stick your data is secured with biometric on the memory stick.

In case of theft or loss of the stick, your data is kept safe and noone will have access to your data.

The software which is needed to work with the CySecure Stick is completly loaded from the stick itself and runs without software installation on ever USB-capable Windows system (see system requirements). Administrator-rights for use of the stick are not needed. For the first initialisation you might need admin rights under certain circumstances.

Key feature:

• Logon of the USB-Memory-Stick to the systems with fingerprint (or failure-passwort).
• Small menu to change fingerprint and password.

Additional features (only available after update - see update software below):

• File and folder encryption (AES 256 Bit) with fingerprint
• Screen-lock with fingerprint
• Single-Sign-On for the Internet Explorer with fingerprint
• Secure administration of bookmarks (favorites of Internet Explorer) - you can take your favorites with you.

Utility for fingerprint cleanup:

Following software utility can be used to clean the registered fingerprints and the password:

FPClear is only working if you know your password or you can authenticate with your finger to the token.
