Rainbow iKey 3000 was developed in Europe. Drivers for Windows and Linux are available.

Hint: Sale of the SafeNet iKey 3000 token has ended with beginning of July 2007. But starting from April 2008 AET is offering the iKey 3000 Replacement. This token is basically the same like the iKey 3000 from SafeNet, but has been renewed (for example more memory -> 72 KB and other).

The SafeNet Rainbow iKey 3000 is a powerful and portable two-factor authentication USB token that enhances the security of Windows 2000, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems and other high security applications.

The iKey 3000 delivers compact and durable security in a token form factor that plugs directly into the USB port on a laptop or desktop and can be stored on a key ring, making it convenient for mobile workers. The iKey 3000 specifically supports PKI and digital signature needs by providing secure on-token cryptographic key generation. Its 32K memory provides secure storage of multiple X.509 digital certificates and PGP keys. Finally, all digital authentication and signing operations are securely performed on-token. The iKey 3000 contains a highly secure processor chip and Giesecke & Devrient operating system that have been ITSEC E4 High certified.
