CyProtect
Key Administration is used for central management of encryption
keys and USB-Tokens for bigger user groups.
CyProtect
Key Administration was created for using and administrating
password alternatives like the Rainbow iKey. It is possible
to generate encryption keys, which can be used for encryption
of files
(CyProtect File Encryption) and
virtual drives (CyProtect Drive Encryption
Professional).
Especially
in companies it is important to use encryption, to prevent
industrial spying and similair dangers. Concurrently it is
also important to have a backup-key, to prevent employees
encrypting data, which cannot be decrypted anymore, if the
employee is leaving the company and does not want to reveal
the password.
CyProtect
Key Administration offers the administrator the possibility
to generate and distribute encryption keys for each member
of staff, with which key the employees are encrypting their
data. In this way the administrator is always able to send
a backup-key, if the original key is damaged or lost.
For
using USB-Tokens we suggest the use of Rainbow
iKey 3000 for saving the encryption keys generated with
CyProtect Key Administration. Other USB-Tokens like the Rainbow
iKey 1000, 1032, 2000 und 2032
are also supported.
